Scot Eastwold

I met him in the late 90's he was running the kitchen at a Girl Scout Camp we dropped my daughter off at he remembered me we had bumped into each other a couple of times since high school at hospitality shows in the twin cities we caught up and it seemed he had done a lot of traveling and had cooked on a private yacht in the Caribbean's one of the adventures I remember and the obituary I found is that he passed away in ottertail county in 2006

Steve,

Yes Bob lives.  We have been emailing back and forth and I encouaged him to contact you to update his status. Thanks to Mark's research I was able to contact his brother and then Bob contacted me.  What a wonderful feeling to find out that someone you thought was dead is now alive.  Best news I have had in a while.

Thanks again, Mark, for your research, and Scott, for the info about Danny. I updated the "In Memory" entry for Danny, and returned Bob to the land of the living (such power, being administrator!  Mwuaa haa haa!).

Darn I didn't know Dan was in Ottertail. He was right down the road from me. Prayers to his family. It has been 14 years since he has passed, but I have been up here 41 years.

John Cavanaugh's story about reconnecting with Bob Christensen has a double happy ending.  John was able to reconnect me with a grade school-to-high school era mutual friend, Chris Stickney.  Thanks John !

It is with great sadness a friend to many at the American Legion Vicki Lucas Grossman has passed away suddenly today Monday August 17th.

Vicki was a kind hearted friend who will be missed by many.  We are positive that Vicki was welcomed with open arms from her parents Luke and Evie who are still greatly missed at the Legion.

Rest in Peace Vicki say hi to all of the other Legion Family Members who have passed before you.

Prayers to all of Vicki's family and friends during this very difficult time.  💔

Special thanks to Kathleen Kullman for providing this information.

Celebration of Life 2-6 PM, Friday, August 21, 2020 at Heritage Park, 1345 Laurel Avenue, St. Paul Park, MN, 55071.

Wow! The end of summer and cold weather. With no posts, is the reason because everyone is a fair weather friend? smiley I do have a question for anyone who played High School football. Were the practices mandatory and 5.5 hours on Labor Day? Also, my son had to lift at 6:15 am this morning before school (or they make him run laps) and he looked tired. I'm wondering if things are the same?

Bob... all right already, you made your point (four times)cheeky. Hope you and the rest of our class are having a great fall. Fantastic weather. Bob, for some reason, I look for you when I drive across the Stillwater Bridge. Do you evern ride your bike, walk, or "run" around that 4.8 mile loop? I wish I could run; but I am just a waddler.

I'm sorry about Kyle's death. I was not able to see him too much after junior high; always thought Kyle was one of the good guys. Hope everyone is ok and have not fallen on the ice or snow. I'm listening to Liberty Flames football and waiiting to hear my Grandson's name. I should have bought ESPN3 so I might watch it today. So, how are you spending this wintry fall day?

So, today when I found Julie in the kitchen, she was about to go out for awhile.  She was wearing this sunshine accesory, so I had to try it myself.  Doesn't this just brighten your day?

I am your sunshine, your only sunshine,

I make you happy, when skies are grey,

I'll never know, dear, how much you love me,

So I won't take, your sunshine, away!

I spent many happy hours building and painting models back in the day.  Jet fighters, spacecraft, submarines.  Anybody else?

John Cavanaugh

Mike,

I still build a model now and then.  Here is part of my collection.  This Wright Flyer is the latest.
